Definitions
“We” and “us” means Gothic Glasgow Tour, or any appointed representative thereof. “Our” and “ours” are implied by extension.
“You” means you or any other person for whom you are purchasing a ticket, or anyone acting on your behalf. “Your” and “yours” are implied by extension.
“Tour” means the event or events for which you are purchasing a ticket, as described on this website, at the time or times and on the date or dates you select via this website.
“Ticket” means the rights of attendance and admission to the tour, in the form of an email delivered electronically via this website.
“Guide” means our appointed representative who is conducting and delivering the tour.
Terms and Conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. When purchasing tickets via this website you will be deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions below.
You must be 18 years old or over to purchase tickets via this website. Tickets are sold in the form of an email which is delivered electronically via this website. We do not send out physical tickets. It is your responsibility to provide a valid email address for an email account you have access to and to ensure that any spam or junk mail filters do not prevent delivery of emails from vincentgothicglasgow@gmail.com. If you have not received your ticket shortly after purchase and have checked your spam and junk mail folders, you should contact us and if payment has been received, we will be able to resend your ticket.
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
You may present your ticket in the form of a printed paper copy or on the screen of an electronic device. Please ensure your device is charged and your ticket has not been deleted. Please also bring valid ID such as a valid student union card, passport or driver's licence.
We reserve the right, at our absolute discretion, not to furnish any ticket to any person other than the holder of the reservation confirmation for the online booking.
Refunds and Cancellations
As you are purchasing tickets for an event, we cannot normally provide a refund in the event of cancellation on your part. If you are however, unable to attend a tour for which you have purchased tickets, we can, given 24 hours notice (48 hours for larger groups of 6 or over) issue a full refund or subject to availability, transfer your tickets to a tour at a different time or date.
Photography, Video and Audio Recording
Photographs taken during the tour may only be used for personal, private, non-commercial purposes. Please respect the privacy of your fellow visitors and guide.
Video and Audio Recording is not allowed during the tour.

Q: Where can I buy tickets for Gothic Glasgow?

Alternatively, you can buy a cash ticket in person from the guide 15 mins before the tour begins (providing we have available space on the tour on the given night)
Q: Where can I join the tour?
A: The tour begins outside Kings Theatre, Bath Street, Glasgow City Centre @8pm Wed-Sun May-Dec 2022.
Q: What happens if I am late?
A: The tour begins at 8pm sharp. We recommend you arrive at the starting point outside Kings Theatre, Bath St, 15 mins before departure. In the event of your being late no refunds will be given.
Q: Is Gothic Glasgow suitable for young families?
A: Gothic Glasgow includes adult themes and some adult humour and is not suitable for children under 14 years.
Q: Is Gothic Glasgow an outdoor event?
A: Yes. The entire tour takes place outdoors so please dress accordingly. Be prepared for the Scottish weather which is often wet! We believe though, the dark, cold nights in Glasgow add to the creepy atmosphere. We are after all, looking for a chilling tour!
Q: Is Gothic Glasgow performed in English?
A: Yes. The tour is performed entirely in English. The guide though will make every effort to deliver the tour clearly for any audience member who does not speak English as a first language.
Q: Can I bring animals on the tour?
A: Access dogs are welcome but not any other animals.
Q: What can I expect on the tour?
A: A guide with 30 years performance experience with a passion for gothic literature, horror movies and all things macabre!
You will also get to see Glasgow city by night and get insights into its spooky and often forgotten history and characters.
You will also enjoy some nice fresh air and some exercise which is always good for the head and heart.
Accessibility & Unforeseen Events
Every effort has been made to keep the tours route at ground level and avoid the many hills in the city. The tour moves at a moderate pace within Glasgow City Centre. Please contact us to discuss any special requirements before booking. If you have reduced mobility or are a wheelchair user, we will do our best to accommodate you.
We reserve the right to cancel a tour should the guide be taken ill or if circumstances arise that make the operation of the tour impossible. These may include severe weather, transport disruption or other unforeseen events. Bad weather does not however constitute a valid reason for your being refunded your fee upon cancelling a tour. If we cancel a tour, we will offer you the choice of switching to another date or a full refund of any monies you have paid to us.
The route of the tour is at the discretion of the guide.
Behavior
We reserve the right to refuse attendance if an individual is intoxicated or disrupting the tour and no refunds will be given. The consumption of alcohol during the tour is forbidden.
Safety, Loss, Damage, Injury, Death
We cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to your personal property during the tour. Please keep your belongings with you at all times.
We shall not be responsible for any death or personal injury during the tour. Tour participants are responsible for their own personal safety at all times. We ask you to pay attention when crossing roads and to be mindful of cyclists who may also use some of the routes we take. Please also be aware of other dangers such as loose paving stones. Whilst Covid-19 restrictions remain in place, we suggest that all participants carry a face mask with them and their own supply of hand gel or similar.
In the event a tour has to be cancelled or abandoned before completion, we will not be liable for any accommodation, travel or other costs you incur.
In no circumstance shall we be liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss, including but not limited to loss of profit, data, revenue, business opportunity, anticipated savings, goodwill or reputation whether in contract, tort or otherwise arising out of or in connection with this agreement or purchases made through this website, save where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
In any case, our liability to you is limited to the purchase price of the tickets you have purchased.
We use reasonable endeavors to check the accuracy of information on our website. We do not warrant that such information will be error free and you acknowledge that the information, products and services published on our website may include inaccuracies or typographical errors. Changes are made periodically to the information contained herein. We may make improvements and/or changes on our website at any time.

If you have a complaint about any aspect of your tour, you must notify your guide immediately so the problem can be resolved during the tour. If the matter cannot be resolved straight away, you will be asked to send a detailed email about your complaint to

We will do everything we can to amicably settle the issue. Disputes arising out of, or in connection with Gothic Glasgow which cannot be settled amicably may be referred to arbitration.
